Dating Rin Itoshi

I've liked Itoshi Rin since middle school.

If you ask me why, it's probably because he fits my ideal type perfectly: tall, cool and aloof, incredibly handsome, and good at soccer.

Of course, I'm not the only one who likes him. Lots of people at school do.

Once, while we were on cleaning duty, I asked him what kind of movies he liked, hoping to learn more about him.

I thought he would coldly refuse to answer,

but to my surprise, Itoshi Rin said he liked horror movies.

I was stunned. I never expected someone with such a cool, aloof exterior to have a soul that craved thrills.

To get closer to Itoshi Rin, I caught up on quite a few horror movies. I admit I'm a coward, and I was so pathetic that the scary scenes made me cry.

After getting scared to tears, I had two choices: one, give up on Itoshi Rin and like someone else; or two, keep liking him and invite him to see the new horror movie.

While I was wavering between the two, Itoshi Rin asked if I wanted to go to the movies. It was the horror movie I'd been keeping an eye on.

Faced with his invitation, I agreed without a second thought. I couldn't help it. An opportunity like this was rare, maybe once in a lifetime.

I was over the moon when I met Itoshi Rin at the theater. Then, after we came out, I pulled my hat down low to hide my tear-streaked face.

I should stop liking Itoshi Rin.

Because he witnessed the most embarrassing moment of my life.

But what happened afterward went far beyond anything I'd imagined.

At our middle school graduation ceremony, Itoshi Rin gave me his second button.

By our third year of high school, he had officially become my boyfriend.

When I asked him what had made him fall for me,
