After I Found My Ex-Boyfriend's Empathy Doll

Yu Ye had a telepathic doll. He went home for a bit, and the doll disappeared. The next time he saw the doll that shared his senses, it was in his ex-boyfriend's hands.

There were two things Yu Ye regretted about his ex-boyfriend, Shen Que.

First, he pretended to be a girl online to hit on Shen Que, then dumped him when Shen Que suggested they meet in person.

Second, he believed the top tipper's bad advice and climbed into Shen Que's bed in the middle of the night to get his telepathic doll back.

That night, he gingerly lifted Shen Que's covers and slowly moved through the dark, planning to take back what belonged to him.

But he didn't expect to lock eyes with Shen Que.

His ex-boyfriend's voice was clear and pleasant, its final note almost like a hook. He looked Yu Ye up and down before asking, word by word, "A man and a man, alone together? Climbing into someone's bed in the middle of the night?"

Yu Ye blushed, his mind in a muddle. Desperate to prove his innocence, he blurted out, "I'm here to rob you."

Shen Que paused, seeming to raise an eyebrow. His gaze turned teasing. "Rob me of my money or my virtue?"

Yu Ye, who wasn't good with words, was stumped.

Shen Que never did return the telepathic doll. Yu Ye, an introvert through and through, could only drop subtle hints from time to time.

But his ex-boyfriend seemed to get the wrong idea.

For the thirteenth time, Yu Ye worked up the courage to knock on the door across the hall, trembling as he did.

"Hi. Could you please stop touching the doll's head?"

"And don't squeeze it randomly either... Thank you."

Later, after they got together, Yu Ye happened to see the list of streamers Shen Que had tipped on his phone. It was filled with Yu Ye's own name.

And Shen Que was the top tipper who'd given him that terrible idea about climbing into his bed!
