"You are the god of love who fell from the temple, the rose that tempted me, and the soldier who betrayed me.
Yet I cast aside faith, discipline, and dignity, and still love you with all my heart."

Hong Kong heiress Zhuang Peiyi was sent to England to study, escaping her brother's clutches and living life to the fullest.
At a party, she met Lawrence and fell hopelessly in love with him.
Lawrence was the quintessential English gentleman, gentle and gracious, incomparably better than her fearsome older brother.
She heard that Mr. Lawrence loved doing charity work, so she pretended to be a poor, friendless student from abroad and schemed her way into his estate.
Only later did she learn that while it was true that Mr. Lawrence loved charity, he hated being deceived even more.
But the truth couldn't stay hidden forever. On the eve of her identity being exposed, Zhuang Peiyi didn't want to be thrown out in disgrace, so she fled back to Hong Kong in the middle of the night.
Her memories of England felt like a dream, and she soon forgot them completely.
Until one late night, she spotted a figure in Lan Kwai Fong who looked just like Lawrence.
Broad shoulders, narrow waist, a firm, well-proportioned build.
Zhuang Peiyi walked over with her drink. "Sir, you look a lot like my ex-boyfriend."
The man turned around. His eyes were bluer and deeper than the Blue Margarita in her hand, instantly reminding Peiyi of the wild nights they'd once spent lost in pleasure.
She instinctively tried to run, but it was already too late.
The man, usually so restrained, lost control. As she wept, unable to bear it any longer, she heard him whisper in her ear, "Ex-boyfriend? Sera, I never broke up with you."
