The male lead seized power in a Hong Kong funeral hall with nothing but a knife.

The young man had snow-white skin and was dressed in a suit. His frame was slender and tall, and he was splattered with blood from head to toe, a bone-carving knife in his hand.

The crowd screamed and fled like fish, but one figure remained kneeling on a cushion. Her long black hair flowed like ink, its ends curled into delicate, beautiful ringlets.

He walked toward her, right up to where she sat.

Only then did the woman who had become a widow gently lift her head from before the hall master's memorial tablet.

Her red lips curved into a smile as elegant and exquisite as ever, dazzling as a flower that would never fade.

"Would you like to inherit me?"

She asked.

How many has it been now?

You honestly can't keep count.

Everyone has loved you, and you have loved everyone, but no one has ever truly been able to have you.

There were simply too many people you once showed favor to. Now they're all dead, yet they have brought you back to the heights of power. You see those familiar looks of admiration again. You have become the world's dark moonlight, and their desires seem ready to tear you apart.

What should you do?

You wonder, raising a hand to stroke the bloodstained face of the young man.

You watch the young, handsome wolfhound who fought his way out of a sea of blood lower his lashes, loyal and obedient as he presses himself against your delicate palm.

You laugh silently.
