Bitten Back by a Bad Dog

[Bad-boy stray-dog, hotheaded tsundere bottom x refined scoundrel, cleanliness-obsessed yandere top]

Two strong-willed men flirt and fight with each other

Ke Zhicheng (bottom) is the crazy campus king of the art academy. He's fierce and dominant in a fight, comes from a family of tattoo artists, and often deals with intimidating gangsters. His skin is sensitive, and he's always covered in bruises, so people mock him and fear him.

During a brawl with their archenemies from the medical school, he casually saves Wen Shaoxian (top), a meek top student who had hidden under a desk in fright.

Ke Zhicheng is all talk: "I can't stand you people from the medical school." But he keeps an eye on Wen Shaoxian, waiting for him every day and secretly signing up for the same tutoring class just to pretend they ran into each other.

The "fragile" Wen Shaoxian can only reluctantly befriend him, acting out the whole "I'm being mugged, you have to protect me" routine.

"My wound hurts. Keep me company."

"Friends are supposed to kiss."

"Don't tell anyone else what I taught you, and don't do it with them either, got it?"

"I was delirious last night. If I did anything that made you uncomfortable, I'm sorry."

Then, an unexpected reveal blows their cover...

I thought you were the one getting beaten up, pretending to be weak and obedient. Could you be any more of a schemer? I said.

Ke Zhicheng thought he was playing the hero rescuing a beauty, but the whole time he was part of Wen Shaoxian's dating-sim game!

They reunite after six years apart.

The password to Wen Shaoxian's bedroom door and safe is Ke Zhicheng's student ID number. He's secretly such a lovesick romantic...

Who are you putting on that devoted act for?

Reader's guide:

1. One-on-one romance, mutual pining, old flames rekindled.

2. No profession is better or worse than another; prejudice is what exists.

3. The medical information and character details in the novel are not rigorous. Please don't overanalyze or imitate them blindly.

Theme: Use medical skills to protect skin health, and a compassionate heart to kindle hope in life
