Blood Snow

When I was little, the woman across from my home ran a hair-washing parlor. Sister Hong would sit in the hazy red light, using her alluring figure to lure one man after another inside.

As a child, I often went into her parlor to watch color television. Through that red light, I caught a glimpse of the adult world.

One snowy day, Sister Hong was murdered on the bed in her parlor. Before the killer arrived, I was the last person to see her.

Fourteen years later, I'd almost forgotten all about it when I suddenly received a call from an unknown number:

"Hello, I'm Sister Hong's daughter. Do you remember the case from back then?"
