An Ordinary Guy Faking Alpha in an AO Manga

During the class monitor election, the instant Qin Su’s expression darkens, his classmates are seized by a chilling, oppressive aura and feel as if fate has a hand around their throats, leaving them terrified and unable to breathe.

Step three to faking Alpha: No rut? No problem. Qin Su faces the mirror and manually pinches the spot on the back of his neck where he doesn’t have a gland until it swells.

In the real world, Qin Su’s roommate is following Star Legend and sees this scene. He exclaims, “Even with the back of his neck swollen and hot, he can still calmly demonstrate how to operate a mech. That’s Qin Su for you, what incredible self-control! The new transfer student character is so cool!”

Hearing his roommate, Qin Su says nothing, just smiles.

1. Misunderstanding-based story, and very much so. Includes forum posts and a protagonist who deliberately steers people toward misconceptions. He switches between the manga and real world at night and by day, and is misunderstood in both. The protagonist is overpowered, with an invincible golden finger. In the manga world, he’s an ordinary human who pretends to be an Alpha. The original protagonists of the manga are protagonists in their own world, but side characters in the protagonist’s world, and won’t be described in detail.

2. The cover uses a non-exclusive template. The author’s writing is very amateurish and they’re great at awkward humor. The logic is nonexistent, it’s pure wish fulfillment, and it’s a slice-of-life story with no real plot.
