The Beta Assistant Runs Off Pregnant

After years of hard work, Ji Wen, a Beta, finally got promoted.

Good news: He was promoted to executive assistant to the CEO.

Bad news: The promotion was really a transfer to a new company, where he’d be helping the young heir. And the boss he had to assist was a brilliant (idiot) second-generation rich kid starting a business.

Even worse news: His archenemy, Qin Yan, an S-rank Alpha whom he’d once slept with, was the big shot on the client’s side. Right now, he was sitting across from Ji Wen, looking at him as if he wanted to kill him.

And worst of all, there was a kid at home who was related to Qin Yan by blood.

Ji Wen: "..."

This lousy world. Why not just destroy it already?

At a banquet.

Humiliated and mocked, Ji Wen got angry. For a moment.

He was so furious that he drank without eating, got drunk, kicked the eldest brother who was supposedly a young master but was actually an illegitimate son, and punched Qin Yan, the big shot everyone was fawning over, when he tried to pull Ji Wen away.

Sober again, Ji Wen: "..."

When is the world going to end? I'm waiting online, and I'm in a hurry!

An unmarkable Beta assistant who seems emotionally stable but is raging with snark on the inside x a gloomy, twisted, and sick S-rank Alpha big shot

Theme: The world is beautiful. Losing your temper is not the answer.
