My Beautiful Wife Is a Little Deaf

Lu Yanrou was deaf. She was granted in marriage to Shan Chengming, the most handsome prince in the court.

On their wedding night, Shan Chengming said many things in her ear. She couldn't hear a single word. She only saw his handsome face moving and thought he despised her for being disabled.

She burst into tears, and Shan Chengming panicked. He gestured and wrote things down, finally managing to comfort her. Little did she know, all the things he chattered about every day were sweet nothings like "I love you," "My wife is so beautiful," and "I want to kiss you, hug you, and lift you up high."

Lu Yanrou, however, thought he despised her. Every day she grew colder toward him, making plans to escape the prince's residence.
