How Does My Wife Know I'm Barking Like a Dog?

I thought I was a little dog. Who knew my parents really were dogs!

Chu Ci, a medical worker worked to the bone, suddenly drops dead. When he wakes up, he discovers he's turned into a beagle!

Chu Ci completely lets loose. Today he complains about the leads being all lovey-dovey, tomorrow he laughs at the silly cat next door for having a crush, and the day after that he drools all over the pretty woman who lives alone nearby...

Since he's a dog, Chu Ci sprawls across the pretty woman's lap and says whatever he likes without a care!

Today he jokes that the pretty woman should be his wife; tomorrow he wonders why she won't bathe with him; the next day he demands to know why she won't kiss him. Is a little beagle in its puppy phase really so unattractive?

Around the pretty woman, Chu Ci lets his doggy nature run wild!

Today he steals flowers from the silly cat next door to give to her;

Tomorrow he snatches the leads' love token for her...

Until

Chu Ci steals the leads' wedding rings and jokingly proposes to the pretty woman.

"I do."

The pretty woman takes the ring and suddenly smiles at him. "Xiao Ci, I said I do."

Chu Ci, who'd been talking big, freezes on the spot

Wait! How can the pretty woman understand him!

She gathers the devastated dog, who is stiff as a board, into her arms. As Jing Wuchen patiently and gently strokes his head, she says softly, "I can actually understand everything you say, Cici."

Chu Ci: !!!

Bonus scene:

One day, before his identity is revealed, Chu Ci takes advantage of how cute he is and deliberately waits outside Jing Wuchen's home to fake an accident.

As soon as Jing Wuchen opens the door, he lets out a "woof" and flops down at her feet.

Chu Ci is dizzy with infatuation, hearts popping out of his eyes as his tail wags happily.

Knowing Jing Wuchen can't understand dog language, he declares with absolute conviction, "Big sis, big sis! Look at me!"

"Just beckon, and I'll be your most loyal little lapdog!"

Later, Chu Ci is tied to the headboard with a ribbon that looks soft but is surprisingly sturdy.

As he sobs and squirms away, Jing Wuchen leans over him, stroking the little dog with tear-reddened eyes and laughing softly. "Didn't Cici ask me to look at him? Didn't Cici say he'd be my most loyal little dog?"

Looking at the little dog, flushed pink all over with his toes curled tight, Jing Wuchen gives a helpless sigh. "A loyal little dog shouldn't run away whenever he likes."
