A Blind Date with My Childhood Friend After Years Apart

During my third-year summer vacation, I went home and my family set me up on a blind date.

Still reeling from the shock, I went to the cafe anyway.

But the more I looked at my date, the more he resembled the older boy who used to live next door.

I tentatively called out, "Brother Ming?"

Before Shen Ming could answer, a girl behind him suddenly stood up and pointed at me, yelling,

"You shameless homewrecker! Who are you calling 'brother' when you just met? He's my brother!"

I tried to explain, but the server I'd asked for a favor stepped forward and said, "What homewrecker? She's divorced and has two kids."

I quietly shrank under the table, suddenly understanding what it means to bring misfortune upon yourself.
