GB Marking Doesn't Work

On my way home from work, I found a strange man who claimed to be an omega. I took him in as a good deed.

He had no grasp of everyday life, and somehow managed to nearly blow up the kitchen.

While I was fuming, he said innocently, "I just wanted to do something for you."

Looking into those clear, innocent eyes, I eventually gave in and let him stay.

*

At first: Come near me and I'll kill you.

Later: Bite me. Just once.

"I'm just an ordinary person."

If anything, I'm a beta. Where would I get the ability to bite him?

"A temporary mark is enough."

"You promised. No taking it back."

"Mm."

I licked my canine tooth. Biting down would probably hurt.

I took a deep breath, shut my eyes, and bit down. I held back, afraid of hurting him, but all I got was an unhappy complaint: "Do you even know how?"

"..."

Huh?

*

Ever since he arrived, strange things had started happening.

My ordinary days were gone, replaced by danger at every turn.

I was swept up in a dangerous incident, and other ABOs appeared in my world.

It seemed they were after him.

He said, "I can leave."

I pulled him into the darkness to hide from our pursuers and whispered, "It's too late to run now."

[Reading Notes]

1. Told in first person.

2. Everyday life at first, with more plot in the middle and later parts.

3. Not a traditional ABO story, with lots of original worldbuilding. Basically, the male lead is a beta with pheromones (?).

Preview of an upcoming story: "After Five Years of Amnesia, I Turned the Young Master into a Flirt"

Ye Yaoqing woke up five years in the future. That wasn't even the worst part. The worst part was that she'd slept with the young master of the richest family in the country.

She looked at the sleeping person beside her. His pale skin, hidden beneath the covers, was marked with traces of their night together. The once short-tempered young man frowned in his sleep, the corners of his eyes red.

Ye Yaoqing: "???"

She did that? Since when was she so bold?

Worried about revenge, she paused for a moment, then ran.

*

Ye Yaoqing was used to living carefree, so she packed up and set off on a road trip. She never expected to run into the young master several times along the way. Thinking he was there to settle the score, she panicked and ran again.

In the middle of the night, just as she was sleeping soundly, a cold sensation suddenly crept into her bed.

She jerked the covers off. Yi Chen gritted his teeth and asked, "Run, will you? Go on, keep running!"

His words were full of hatred, but his eyes were even redder.
