After My Archenemy Lost His Memories, He Insisted on Becoming My Husband

Lin Shuang'er had always been the kid everyone else was compared to: smart and beautiful, if not for one person who always managed to outdo her at everything.

Lin Shuang'er couldn't accept it. She studied late into the night and ended up transmigrating.

Realizing she had transmigrated, Lin Shuang'er smiled. It was fine. As long as she didn't have to see that person, she didn't mind transmigrating.

But before even fifteen minutes had passed, she was shoved into a marriage to bring good fortune to a sickly young man!

Lin Shuang'er: "I'm done! Whoever wants this can have it!"

Her resistance was futile, and she was sent to the bridal chamber. Lin Shuang'er panicked. She took back what she'd said. She didn't want to transmigrate after all.

Footsteps sounded outside the bridal chamber. The door opened, and the refined face of her nemesis appeared.

Lin Shuang'er: "?"

The other person asked, "Are you staying here, or coming with me?"

Before Lin Shuang'er could react, she heard people outside saying to keep an eye on the bride and not let anyone steal her away.

Looking at the person in front of her, Lin Shuang'er asked scornfully, "You? Stealing me away?"

And how exactly are you going to pull that off?

Faced with Lin Shuang'er's cold laugh, Liu Yeming knocked her unconscious with a club and carried her off.

After spending some time together, Lin Shuang'er realized that Liu Yeming had lost his memory.

Lin Shuang'er: "If you've lost your memory, fine, but why did you kidnap me?"

Liu Yeming pulled out a school badge. "You have one too. Nobody else does."

Lin Shuang'er: "..."

She smiled without warmth. "Oh, this? You gave it to me as a token of your love. That's why you came to steal me away."

Liu Yeming stared at her, then happily accepted this version of events.

After Lin Shuang'er told him they were childhood sweethearts who'd grown up together (and loathed each other), Liu Yeming began learning how to dote on his wife.

He let her hit him and scold him, and agreed to every unreasonable thing she asked.

But he began to suspect that his wife didn't like him.

One day, after they had argued, Lin Shuang'er said disdainfully, "I should've married that sickly guy instead!"

Liu Yeming's face darkened. He decided to go meet that sickly guy.
