This Is Definitely Not a Proper Game of Werewolf!!

What happens when palace intrigue stops being mere palace intrigue and turns into a real-life werewolf game?

The Empress is a White Wolf, and the Emperor is a Hunter.

The other young women in the palace are cards of unknown type.

A gathering takes place every seven days, and at each gathering, someone mysteriously dies.

Year Fourteen of the Da Ming era.

Qi Lianlian opens her eyes once more. With a sigh, she gets out of bed. Dead again.

Honestly, who could have guessed? She was ready to enter the palace, scheme and fight for favor, win a high rank, and start throwing her weight around. Instead, she'd walked into a gigantic werewolf game.

She was a useless little nobody with a Villager card, and she got killed on her second day in the palace.

The worst part is that she can only see the blurry silhouette of the person who kills her at night.

PS: This is not a traditional palace-intrigue story. It's a gigantic werewolf game with supernatural elements, and people will die.

PPS: The protagonist isn't a good person or a saint. She's just a scumbag with a few principles.

A short story, written for fun.

Theme: Hold on to your principles in an absurd world, and be a good person
