Building a Cloudsea Immortal Sect in a Management Game [Pili]

[Title and blurb mismatch warning]

[Recommend reading the sample first. The protagonist starts with a game interface cheat and drops into the Demon-Slaying Record timeline. Still a chaotic mix of Yunhai Immortal Sect relationship drama and a touch of conspiracy theory.]

The player is a self-proclaimed casual gamer, a completionist and stats enthusiast who seems serene on the surface but grinds and pays behind the scenes. They never look at guides and insist on figuring things out themselves, so they can never climb the rankings.

Then their best friend Wen Naihe asks them to help test a new single-player game he developed, called Yunhai Immortal Sect Management Simulator. The player takes the role of a prince of the Xuanyuan clan and goes around righting wrongs, founding a sect, expanding its territory, and saving Shenzhou. Most importantly, Wen Naihe gives the player an unlimited combat power cheat.

Player: !!! How could I not play this!

Player: Wow, my younger brother is an SSR gifted right from the start, the sect recruitment point gives me an SSR, and the son given to me by the System is an SSR too!! (A non-SSR puller rejoices.jpg)

Player: That's right, I am the Lord of the Three Realms, the Venerable of Xuanhuang, the Founder of the Immortal Way, the Supreme Profound Lord of the Nine Heavens!! (raises arms and shouts.gif)

"Hey, Wen, why is there an NPC in the game with the same name as you?" The player furiously taps their friend’s chat window. "He has an SSR son I want. Can I steal him?"

"No."

One month later

"Wen, I'm done for, I'm done for QAQ. Why did meeting the requirements trigger a cutscene right away? I spent so long raising that SSR, and I raised Yunhai Immortal Sect from scratch, sob... Can I start over?"

"Do you really want to start over?" comes the question from the other side of the chat window.

"Can't you restart a normal game?" the player types back, confused.

"Then start over."

[Greetings, fellow cultivator Jun Moumou. Welcome to the large-scale VR game "Bitter Realm".]

The timeline may span from Demon-Slaying Record to Stormy Seas.

A scummy player with young Jun Fengtian's face and the Supreme Profound Lord's cultivation, plus a game interface cheat. They have no memories of the Supreme Profound Lord, just a very long in-game journal they never read.

Theme: Everyone laughs at the Supreme Profound Lord, yet in the new series the immortal sect has the highest survival rate.
