At Night, Stay Alert!

[I originally planned to finish this short story before posting it, but a friend gave me a fanart of my pairing, and I even made a genius Polaroid myself, so I'm putting it up for early access to let everyone enjoy it, haha]

Han Lie was kidnapped.

An anxious, pleading voice came through the phone: "Whatever the ransom is, I'll pay it! Just let him say something to me. I need to make sure he's okay!"

The kidnapper grabbed Han Lie by the bangs and forced his head up.

"Go on, you'd better cry and beg him to have fifty million ready, or we can't guarantee what'll happen to that smug face of yours..."

His arrogant grin vanished, and a scream rang clearly through the phone.

After being trapped for three hours, Han Lie finally planted a foot on the kidnapper's head, picked up the phone, and said:

"If you've confirmed he's okay, hurry up. I'm giving them five minutes to say their last words."

The kidnappers' hideout was full of evidence of their crimes.

While waiting for his teammates, Han Lie investigated the crime scene alone, but in the basement he found a horrifying mess...

Blood everywhere, limbs in pieces, a foul stench filling the air.

He found a surviving victim.

*Han Lie is the bottom.

Soon he'll become a victim of love too. Probably a nonhuman x police officer romance.

Theme: Justice makes darkness fall in love.
