Her Secret

Zhu Yunchu was the illegitimate daughter of the Zhu Group who'd been left behind. After twenty years adrift, she finally returned home.

It became the talk of high society. Everyone thought the old master Zhu was on his deathbed, and she'd come back to fight for the family fortune!

The other Zhu heirs thought the same, but they weren't worried.

What could an illegitimate daughter with no connections or power possibly do to compete with them?

Then came the banquet.

In full view of everyone, Xie Zhi, the newly appointed head of the Xie Group, invited Zhu Yunchu to dance.

Everyone was grinding their teeth in frustration.

Had Xie Zhi taken a liking to Zhu Yunchu? If he helped her, would they still stand a chance against her?

What they didn't know was that Xie Zhi had become interested in Zhu Yunchu because he'd accidentally discovered her secret.

At the center of the dance floor, a perfectly matched couple glided through a ballroom dance.

Xie Zhi leaned down and whispered in her ear, "I know your secret."

Zhu Yunchu glanced up, unconcerned.

"I saw you kill the real Zhu Yunchu and take her place."
