An Enemy Is an Enemy, After All

Yi Yi woke up with an aching back, sore waist, and a leg cramp.

He only remembered that yesterday he had been celebrating with his next-door nemesis, who had also gotten into a top-tier 985 university. In the blink of an eye, it was today, and he felt as if he had just completed a 20-kilometer march.

The marks on his body were proof that something had definitely happened last night.

And the good kid next door, the one who always served as his foil, was sitting by the bed with a guilty look, seemingly willing to let Yi Yi hit or scold him as he pleased.

The perfect, well-behaved top student next door had finally done something wrong. As the bad example by comparison, Yi Yi immediately decided to tell their parents and expose how the other boy only pretended to be so obedient in front of the adults.

The next moment,

the well-behaved top student who was supposed to be his foil wore that same guilty, well-behaved expression and said something even more rebellious.

“I’ve liked you for a long time.”

“I never thought you liked me too. You’re so eager to tell our parents the happy news that we’re together.”

After hearing Yu Shan’s words, Yi Yi’s face darkened. Dragging his battered body, he limped away from the scene of the crime in indignation.

How could the bad example by comparison possibly like the good kid Jin Biao?

Right?

It had to be, right!

P.S. Both the gong and the shou are adult college students.
