The thing he's proudest of: having more tentacles than anyone else on the planet, a grand total of four hundred!
The thing that worries him most: his soulmate is about to appear, and he has to figure out how to tactfully tell them he wants to choose his own partner.
Unfortunately, Jiang Chu gets caught up in a succession crisis and ambushed. He loses 396 tentacles and has no idea which planet in the universe he's landed on.

The unlucky Jiang Chu sits on a twisted, eerie tree, heartbroken.
As if things couldn't get worse, Jiang Chu senses his soulmate approaching and becomes even more heartbroken.
He slowly looks up to find a gun pointed at his forehead. The person holding it wears a tight black combat suit, with a pair of black panther ears on their head and a fluffy tail swaying slightly behind them.
Ji Gu Zhou's handsome face is set in a stern expression, and a dangerous glint flashes in his long, catlike eyes.
