After the Monster Started Coveting Me, the Most Popular One

Upcoming story: “My Gloomy Stepmother’s Tentacles”

Yu Ying played a nurturing game. Sea serpents, jellyfish, octopuses, and other legendary eldritch creatures were all her children.

Before she could clear the game, its beta test failed and the servers shut down completely.

Yu Ying had no choice but to put the game aside and join a dating reality show. But on the first day of filming, she began to wonder if she had a mental illness.

She could always see the guests’ dark, crawling snake tails, their wildly writhing tentacles, and the mucus secreted by their arms.

What was more, the guests on the dating show were all madly infatuated with her.

The cool, mature beauty liked collecting her intimate clothing, rubbing her snake tail against the garments to leave her scent behind.

The sweet idol’s tentacles loved cuddling up to Yu Ying, secreting sticky fluid with a sweet smell.

The voice actor’s pink tentacles coiled around Yu Ying’s wrist, greedily drawing in her scent.

They loved Yu Ying like mad.

After filming the first episode of the dating show, Yu Ying hurried to a psychiatric hospital.

Yu Ying: “Doctor, I’m mentally ill.”

The paranormal containment facility burst in. “Ms. Yu, for the safety of all humanity, please return to the show and soothe your children.”

Yu Ying: ?

After disappearing for a week, Yu Ying put on a secret identity as an ordinary person and returned to the dating show, pretending not to know that the eldritch creatures were her children.

But things spiraled out of control, and all the creatures rushed to find their mom.

The gloomy snake rubbed against her frantically with its tail. “Mother, let me merge with your body.”

The jellyfish’s tentacles formed an airtight net around her. “That stupid snake can do it, so why can’t I?”

The octopus’s soft pink tentacle slipped between Yu Ying’s lips. “Mother helped the jellyfish. Help me too. I’m the child you love most.”

Yu Ying thought she had never mistreated any of her gloomy tentacle monsters.

Until one rainy night, a black shadow slipped through the crack in the door, wrapped around her ankle, and dragged her down into the abyss beneath the sea.

The sea monster’s body, like black mist, enveloped her as it demanded,

“Mother, why did you abandon me?”

Yu Ying remembered the obsessive eldritch creature she had raised and then abandoned.

Wanting to make it up to the sea monster, she said, “You’re Mother’s favorite child. Whatever you want, Mother will give it to you.”

The sea monster whispered its plea into her ear. “I want us to merge and never be apart!”

Three eldritch creatures appeared behind Yu Ying, their tentacles writhing with desire. “Mother, aren’t we your favorite children?”
