The Crow in the Palm of Everyone's Least Favorite

White Crow is a crow with an especially potent beak. Whoever she talks about is struck by bad luck.

Her wish is to bring good fortune to humanity.

But humans hate her and drive her away, while her own kind despise and bully her.

Heartbroken and disillusioned, White Crow paints her feathers white and walks into a bird and flower market.

She hides in a corner and lowers her price from fifty thousand to five yuan.

But no one likes her or wants to keep her.

Until the gloomy young heiress of the wealthy Jiang family walks in, carrying a golden birdcage. She strokes White Crow's black feathers and asks, "Would you like to come home with me?"

White Crow steps onto Jiang Zhi's shoulder with her claws: Crow's got a human!

In her new home, White Crow restrains her nature and never speaks first. She's afraid her beak will bring her mistress bad luck.

Later, White Crow learns that Jiang Zhi is universally disliked. Her classmates look down on her, and her family can't stand her.

White Crow lets loose and secretly helps Jiang Zhi get revenge.

The classmates who spread rumors about Jiang Zhi develop sores in their mouths and can never speak again.

The head of the Jiang family, who mentally manipulated Jiang Zhi, suddenly develops a mental illness.

Jiang Zhi's own brother, who suppressed her and took everything from her, becomes universally disliked and fair game for everyone to bully.

One day, White Crow flaps her wings and speaks up for Jiang Zhi.

"May the entire Jiang family go bankrupt and end up sleeping on the streets!"

Jiang Zhi grabs White Crow by the wing. "Didn't you call yourself a beautiful, kind-hearted little white bird? Why do you have two different sides?"

White Crow: Oh no, my secret identity is exposed!!!

White Crow: Mistress, I was joking. I'm not a jinx.

The next second, Jiang Zhi receives news that the Jiang family has gone bankrupt.

White Crow: "…"

Jiang Zhi awakens to the truth and learns she's the universally disliked foil in a book.

The villainous Jiang Zhi only wants revenge on everyone.

By chance, she buys White Crow. The bird is cute and sweet, but doesn't talk much.

Until one night, Jiang Zhi opens the security camera feed and sees White Crow drawing circles on the ground with her claws, cursing her brother to die.

A sweet little bird with a dark side?

She loves her even more.
