The Secret of the Maple Forest

An ancient legend has been passed down in the maple forest. It is said that long, long ago, a beautiful maple-leaf fairy lived there. She had the power to control the changing seasons and was especially skilled at making autumn look like a scene from a poem or painting. But even the fairy had her troubles. Whenever autumn ended, she had to infuse part of her power into every falling leaf, turning them into warmth for the winter and protecting the creatures of the forest. Year after year, the fairy grew weaker, until one day she decided to find a human who could inherit her powers and keep the wonders of the maple forest alive.
