"Next up: Too Soft to Resist"
Pathologically possessive madman x clear-headed, resilient little white flower
Coercive courtship from the very first chapter | Childhood friends | Rekindled romance
When Meng Shu was in her final year of high school, her parents began fighting over a divorce. Her mother’s supervisor took pity on the girl and brought her home to care for her.
Meng Shu was grateful to Aunt Xia, and grateful to her husband, Uncle Fu.
And to their son, Fu Shiyu.
Grateful to him...
For showing her how cruel people could be.
*
Everyone, whether they knew him or not, praised Professor Fu’s son as a remarkable talent, a darling of the heavens.
When Meng Shu first met Fu Shiyu, she thought so too.
The young man was cool and noble, his every movement marked by excellent manners and grace.
He often helped her with her studies, too.
Meng Shu called him “Good Guy Fu Shiyu.”
The night the college entrance exam results came out.
Meng Shu had done very well and was certain to get into her dream university. She received countless congratulations from friends and family all night.
She had just finished talking to her mother on the phone when she heard the bedroom door lock behind her.
Meng Shu turned around and saw Fu Shiyu standing behind her.
The room was dark. She heard him say
“Congratulations on getting what you wanted.”
“Now it’s my turn.”
People said college meant freedom. Meng Shu felt she had neither freedom nor even a self of her own.
“I’m outside your dorm. Come down within five minutes.”
“You took five seconds too long to reply to two of my messages today.”
“When I’m around, don’t go more than five steps away from me.”
Meng Shu finally couldn’t take it anymore.
“Fu Shiyu, I hate you!”
“Mm, I love you too, baby.”
“I despise you! I hate you so much!”
“I love you. You’re the only one I love.”
Meng Shu cursed, “You’re a freak, Fu Shiyu!”
*
When Meng Shu realized what kind of deranged yandere she had gotten involved with, she finally left him without looking back.
Two years later, her mother remarried, and Meng Shu returned to attend the wedding.
She happily put on her bridesmaid dress, having heard the best man would be the groom’s son.
But the smile vanished from Meng Shu’s face when she saw her stepfather.
She never imagined her mother’s fiancé would be Fu Minghuai.
And the best man was her ex-boyfriend, the one she’d dumped without warning!
Beneath the spotlight, the bride and groom exchanged rings.
In the dimness below the stage, the best man ignored the bridesmaid’s struggles and laced his fingers with hers.
The noble, handsome man leaned down to whisper in Meng Shu’s ear. Amid countless words of congratulations, he said
“We’re finally family.”
“Shushu, baby, you can never leave me again.”
What you thought was sordid flirtation was the only salvation I had in the darkness.
* The leads have no legal or blood relationship at any point
* The male lead is a rabid dog, very, very crazy. He really is mentally ill, and has terminal lovesickness
* Their parents’ divorces and remarriages are normal, and both are good people. The story explains everything, and there are no moral issues involved
Theme: Pure love is priceless
26/5/17 Meng Shu & Fu Shiyu end I really liked the forced love at the beginning, which attracted me to stay with the two of them. Watching the male protagonist slowly grow and become better, the female protagonist also sees clearly what she likes deep in her heart. I am very reluctant to end this chapter, and I hope that I can write better works!! Grateful!!! 🌈🌈🌈
Why did you have to wait so long? Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Daily life after marriage, can the wife update more frequently? I like to watch it
[Orange Candy] It's so well written that I accidentally read the end and I felt happy and sad for a while. The plot was so gripping.
