Shimmering in All My Uselessness

[Updates at night, edits during the day]

After Feng Ping graduated from high school, her father, who favored sons over daughters, refused to keep supporting her education. Instead, he planned to find her a "good match" nearby.

To escape the town, Feng Ping had no choice but to sneak out in the middle of the night and beg a relative to take her south to find work.

Jin Huaiming was born to love freedom.

Tired of the Bay Area and unwilling to return to the capital and face the mess waiting for him at home, he accepted a friend's invitation and decided to head south together to start a business somewhere new.

Feng Ping is uneducated, only wants to make money, and has a stubborn streak;

Jin Huaiming has a sharp tongue, a terrible temper, and is hard to please.

Feng Ping thinks Jin Huaiming is crazy, with a spoiled rich young master's attitude. If one little thing displeases him, he has to say something nasty.

Feng Ping hates Jin Huaiming, but he's the most generous boss she's ever met.

Good for nothing, but still meant to shine.

This is probably a transitional piece as I get back into writing.

Sharp-tongued and arrogant x resilient little sapling

Second Young Master Jin really does speak unpleasantly, and he's not exactly a good person, either.

The Woman Beyond the Taboo

Shi Zeran and I were childhood friends for ten years.

He always looked after me, too.

In middle school, I once thought we were made for each other, a perfect match...

Until I discovered who he really loved.

Sigh... It really was a secret that couldn't be told.

Early morning, a rainy night.

Ding Yu touched the bite mark on her lip, perfectly calm inside.

"Shi Zeran could never love you," said the one responsible.

"I know."

Ding Yu was perfectly composed. "I've always known, and I know who he loves."

Ying Jueyuan fell silent for three seconds, then sneered. "Then why are you still marrying him? Could you stop making your life so miserable?"

"I'm about to get married, and you still take advantage of me..."

Ding Yu wiped her lips, still utterly calm, as if discussing the weather. "So which of us is more shameless?"
