The Young Lady Quit and Ran Away

In the sixteenth year Fu Lihua had spent roaming the jianghu with her master, her birth mother came looking for her.

Her mother was weeping so hard she could barely get a sentence out, clutching Fu Lihua's hand with tears streaming down her face.

Fu Lihua was utterly stunned.

It turned out she was a young lady from the capital, lost by accident years ago for a whole host of reasons!

Fu Lihua: I'm amazing!

So she went to the capital and became the carefree young lady she'd always dreamed of being.

But life as a young lady wasn't easy either. Her father thought she was uneducated, her brother thought she had no manners, and the other young ladies thought she was a weirdo... Even the man she fell for at first sight and pursued with great fanfare wouldn't give her the time of day.

Later, when her master died, she wept bitterly at the news. Then, watching her senior brother in his coarse clothes, weathered by wind and sun yet free and content, she finally understood:

She just wasn't cut out to be a young lady!

At least she had martial arts skills, and she wasn't incapable of using her head. Why not put her talents to good use and set a goal that suited her strengths? What should she do...

She had it. She'd become a general. Easy enough.

The third year after he rejected Fu Lihua's confession, she stopped loving him.

At heart, this is a romance about falling in love.

The setting is entirely fictional, so please don't overanalyze it.

It shouldn't be too long.
