After the Divorce, My CEO Ex-Wife Started Saying She Loves Me

On the day after her eighteenth birthday, Wu Yu fell in love at first sight with Li Wenqiu at a banquet.

Love in your youth always comes fiercely. That blazing passion drove her to pursue Li Wenqiu for three years, and she finally won her heart and married her. But even after they married, Li Wenqiu still didn't love her. Her work felt more real to her than Wu Yu ever did.

No matter how burning it is, love is eventually worn away by a beloved's cold indifference. Wu Yu was heartbroken and wanted to leave, but Li Wenqiu became possessive.

No, Li Wenqiu had always been possessive. She was just so good at hiding it that Wu Yu never noticed. During the years they were together, she had cut off nearly all of Wu Yu's connections. Even if Wu Yu wanted to leave, there was nothing she could do.

Held tightly in the woman's arms as she declared her love, one word at a time, with a sickening intensity, Wu Yu felt cold all over. She shouldn't have approached her. She shouldn't have said without thinking, in the heat of her love, that she could give up everything for her. She shouldn't have said she'd love only her for the rest of her life.

Li Wenqiu had taken her at her word.
