Wen Xueshi, a top professional esports player, is betrayed by his team captain at the peak of his career. After the team cuts ties with him, he loses all hope and plunges into the deep sea.
When he wakes up again, Wen Xueshi discovers that he has transmigrated back to high school. Back then, he was a delinquent who picked fights and caused trouble, indirectly leading to his mother's death in a car accident and his father's death from grief.
This time, Wen Xueshi decides to "turn over a new leaf" and teach his past self how to behave.
-
On his first day after transmigrating, Wen Xueshi rescues Ci Lin, who is surrounded by thugs in an abandoned factory.
Ci Lin slumps on the ground and wipes the blood from the corner of his mouth. "Mind your own business."
Wen Xueshi plants a foot on him, grabs his dyed-blond hair, and says coldly, "Dye it black. And pay up for protection."
-
On the second day after transmigrating, Wen Xueshi waits for Ci Lin outside an internet cafe, holding a huge bag of workbooks.
Ci Lin angrily flips the workbooks over. "Are you crazy? I'm not doing these."
Wen Xueshi immediately slaps him. "Pick them up. Do them."
-
On the third day after transmigrating, Wen Xueshi catches Ci Lin outside school as he tries to skip class by climbing over the wall.
Ci Lin clings to the top of the wall and yells, "Why are you always on my case?"
Wen Xueshi knocks him back down with a stick. "Get back to class."
-
On the Nth day after transmigrating, Wen Xueshi is supervising Ci Lin's practice problems as usual. But Ci Lin doesn't pick up his pen. He only looks at Wen Xueshi expectantly.
Wen Xueshi: "Don't look at me. Look at the questions."
Ci Lin: "Did you forget something?"
Wen Xueshi: "?"
Ci Lin: "You haven't beaten me up yet."
Wen Xueshi: "..."
-
Later, Ci Lin gets into a university he's happy with. Wen Xueshi accompanies him to move in, and unexpectedly runs into the captain who betrayed him in his previous life in the dormitory.
Ye Xiqian greets him with his phone in hand. "Hey, can I add you on WeChat?"
Wen Xueshi is disgusted and is about to refuse when Ci Lin pulls him into his arms from behind. "Don't call him that. He's my brother, and he doesn't add people on WeChat."

PS: 1. Narcissistic romance, present self × past self.
2. Both leads are pure, 1v1 throughout, super sweet.
3. The bottom changed his name to take his mother's surname, so his name differs from the top's.
