Ordinary Road Survival

Blurb:

The first time Jian Wei ever tasted bread was on a highway that stretched beyond the horizon. She wolfed it down while steering a beat-up Mustang F0 painted green with one hand, rattling along the ruined road.

This is a massive highway survival scenario. Jian Wei is an ordinary road traveler from the year 463 of the apocalypse, not yet classed into a profession. Her goal is simple: keep her family fed and warm, so they never have to worry about food or alien beasts again.

[Ding! You are approaching the Endless Plains. Outdoor quest triggered: Harvest wheat. Accept quest?]

[Ding! You are approaching the Pan Yun Mountains. Random quest triggered: Catch a hare. Accept quest?]

[Ding! You are approaching the Aegean Bay. Hidden quest triggered: The missing mermaid whale. Accept quest?]

Jian Wei diligently completes her quests, enjoying a perfectly ordinary road-survival life. Who could have guessed that the wheat she gathers can cleanse and strengthen the body, the rabbits she catches can eat an entire mountain bare, and the mermaid whale she meets at the end really does turn into a beauty? Now he follows her everywhere, shouting that he wants to marry her. Honestly, buddy, you're a male whale! I don't even have an ocean at home. You may be brave enough to marry me, but I'm not brave enough to marry you!
