Who Do You Think You Are, You Little Cookie?

In 1980, the third year after the national college entrance examination was reinstated, the female lead had spent three years preparing for the exam, determined to do as well as the educated youths sent to the countryside in her village. But a love letter, maliciously shown to her parents by her cousin, made all three years of hard work go to waste. In 2020, the forty-first year of reform and opening up, the male lead was a super-rich second-generation heir who spent the night before the college entrance exam partying at a nightclub. As a result, he slept through the entire exam, then got chased around half the villa complex by his grandfather, who was wielding an antique vase. That night, she leaned indifferently against a woodpile in the freezing darkness, looking at her cracked hands, covered in chilblains. For a moment, she wanted to give her life back to them, until she heard an irritable boy shouting from somewhere, "Fuck! Where did this antique pig-brain come from? Get his ass!" From then on, her world was no longer lonely. Sometimes, it even got a little too lively. Theme: Never give up on this world, no matter what.
