As a beast-controlling hunter, Lou Mingyao figures handling one helpless little bird should be a piece of cake.

But he never expected this helpless little bird to be so destructive, digging a grave in his heart and making up all sorts of nonsense about loving him.

Whenever the little bird lifts his tail, Lou Mingyao can't bear to look away.

He can't stop wanting to touch those pale, tender legs beneath it.

Too bad the little bird is such a coward, always trying to get away from him, and so clumsy at lying.

As the enemies grow ever more vicious, Lou Mingyao steels himself and pushes the little bird into a pit.

“Stay here and wait for the beasts to eat you!”

Even after falling into the enemy's trap and being unable to escape, Lou Mingyao is pretty happy.

At least he hasn't dragged the other man into trouble.

Suddenly, the timid white-feathered bird swoops down from the sky. “Lou Mingyao, you old villain! There's nowhere to run. I'm here!”

After rescuing him, the little bird turns timid again, flutters into the hunter's arms, and sobs.

“You bastard, you slept with me and still don't want to take responsibility? Not happening!”
