A paranormal investigation show was hiring a host to lead the team.

The previous hosts had all met with accidents, and nobody wanted the job. Su Mian volunteered to pick up the microphone.

A no-name rookie was brought in at the last minute, and took the team to investigate a supposedly haunted house with a bit of a reputation.

The online crowd couldn't resist taking a look.

Su Mian: A worker's soul is a working soul. My resentment from working late at night is heavier than any ghost's.

Who knew that wherever he went, someone would end up dead? A whole bunch of big shots chased after Host Su, writing report after report.

Today it was a little pit where a body had been buried. Yesterday, a suitcase in a reservoir. The day before that, a room hidden inside the walls of a haunted house...

The major crimes unit was digging up graves and opening coffins alongside the paranormal show. Su Mian was practically turning into the law enforcement world's number one celebrity.

The producer had already dropped and broken his fifth teacup, terrified he'd be summoned for questioning.

Show crew: Where did this host with a ghost-attracting constitution come from?

Viewers: Can somebody tell us this is all fake, special effects, or black magic?!

Gu Yanzhou only found out the canary he'd been keeping had run away when his secretary reported it.

So he'd run. Fine. Gu Yanzhou would just clean up the mess.

But calls from the relevant authorities kept coming one after another.
