Real fox spirit x princess of a fallen kingdom

Enchanting beauty x laid-back slacker

Xu Mingyu had been watching that shop for a long time.

How strange. It stood at the end of an empty street, with no sign and no customers ever coming in.

She wondered to herself what the shop even sold. There were only three people there, including the owner, yet somehow it had stayed open through these troubled times.

And the owner was stunningly beautiful. Every time Mingyu passed by, she would wave a fan and smile at her seductively.

At night, Xu Mingyu tossed and turned because of that smile. Clutching her threadbare quilt, she grumbled, Is she actually a fox in disguise?!

Ru Yan had been watching that beggar for a long time.

What a sorry state the world was in. Such a pretty young lady had become a beggar.

She had deliberately opened her shop in front of the young lady's beggars' den, hoping she would come inside one day.

Every time the young lady walked by, Ru Yan would wave her fan and try to blow her scented breeze over her. She called it sending her feelings on a fragrant wind.

At night, Ru Yan let her hair down and stared at herself in the bronze mirror. She thought of the young lady covering her face and hurrying past, as if Ru Yan were some terrifying monster.

Ru Yan angrily swept the bronze mirror aside. Eight tails burst out behind her. Was she not beautiful anymore?!

Later, the beggar changed into red wedding clothes and curled up in the fox spirit's arms. She "accidentally" squeezed the base of her tail.

Ru Yan's phoenix eyes narrowed. In the blink of an eye, she pinned the misbehaving Xu Mingyu beneath her. "You're seducing me."

In a nutshell: A fox spirit falls in love with the beauty she keeps seeing after being smitten at first sight.
