The Old God of Death and the New-Age Omega Find Their HEA

My writing skills aren't good enough to handle this story, so I'm putting it on hiatus for now. I'm sorry to everyone who's been following it.

Depressed omega VS seemingly innocent but actually dark Grim Reaper

Also known as:

[From Heartbreaking to Healing, All It Takes Is One Sybil]

[How a Love-Struck Fool Gets Kidnapped]

[Diary of a Scheming Grim Reaper]

The daughter of Shen, the chairman of the Federation, has differentiated as an omega. This should have been a happy occasion.

But the frustrating part is that she's only B-ranked. A B-rank, in the all-A Shen family, is a disgrace to the clan.

Everyone is waiting to laugh at Miss Shen, to see her jilted by her A-rank fiancee, cast out by her family, and fade into an ordinary life.

But Shen Yi'an, the center of everyone's eager anticipation, doesn't give them what they want.

She contentedly curls up in her little nest and lies around like a lazy fish.

She only rolls over when Sybil comes by, and even then, just blows a bubble at her.

After meeting Sybil, Shen Yi'an discovers that she has skipped the usual process of finding a partner that most omegas go through. Just one month after differentiating, she somehow learns to build a nest on her own, thanks to a trace of Sybil's scent.

Her suppressants even run out faster than other omegas'.

Shen Yi'an is deeply troubled by this and accuses Sybil: "This is all your fault! You turned me into this!"

Sybil looks completely innocent. "I'm being wronged, Miss! I haven't done anything at all!"

Content warnings: Miss Shen has psychological issues and is very depressed early on, so the story is angsty.

The Grim Reaper is not part of ABO.

The omega has a childhood engagement early in the story. Her fiancee is a female alpha. Female alphas are not presumed to have accessories.

A slight harem protagonist element. The childhood fiancee and an unrelated older sister like Shen, but she finds their feelings repulsive.

Theme: Don't let waiting turn into regret.
