Making Up Again

Chu Yi was a friend circumstances had forced on me, one I had no way to escape.

Our parents had been close friends since childhood, so close that when they got married and bought houses, they chose homes in the same neighborhood. Chu Yi was two months and three days older than me, putting us in the same school year, so naturally, Chu Yi and I became “good friends” who could never avoid running into each other.

Everyone knew how close we were. Ever since I could remember, Chu Yi had always been by my side. He was practically part of my body, like one of my organs.

But in truth, our relationship had never been bad, nor had it ever been good.

I finally finished it. It’s about childhood friends who are “known by everyone to be close, but actually aren’t that close” ww

It’s set in an ABO world, with a Beta female lead and an Alpha male lead.

In this setting, 99% of the population are Betas, so the prevailing worldview is still based on two sexes. Among Alphas and Omegas, people are overly reliant on “using pheromones to communicate their feelings.” With that in mind, you’ll notice that Ji Ran’s tone gets rather awkward whenever ABO-related topics come up. That’s the effect I was going for. Chu Yi’s inner thoughts are actually coming from a completely different perspective, so imagine them from a thoroughly ABO point of view. There’s a lot of resentment there www

It took me ages to finish, and I’m completely burned out. I can’t even tell if it’s any good or not. I’ll revise it later if needed, and maybe add a little more. Anyway, please read it with all your might. Thank you, everyone!
