Don't Cry

[Super sweet, ditzy bottom x cool, obsessive top student]

Ji Xingyu first met Fang Zhou across the hallway.

The child was disheveled, with scars all over his exposed arms. He cried and pounded on the door in front of him until three in the morning, but the door remained firmly shut.

At first, Ji Xingyu just found the child's cries annoying, but he still stepped over and took his hand. "Would you like to come home with me?"

Fang Zhou went with him.

The child was very well-behaved, with long eyelashes. Still sniffling, he said, "Thank you, big brother."

That year, Ji Xingyu was twelve, and Fang Zhou was six.

From then on, Fang Zhou would often sneak over to his house,

bringing math problems he couldn't solve and candies he'd found somewhere, handing them to Ji Xingyu one after another.

Strawberry flavor today, pineapple tomorrow.

They quietly became the only bright spots in each other's lives.

Until the day the accident happened.

Fang Zhou's father shoved him off the sixteenth floor.

When Ji Xingyu arrived, all he saw was a pool of crimson blood, staining Fang Zhou's blue-and-white school uniform. The sight was horrifying.

That year, Ji Xingyu was twenty-four, and Fang Zhou was eighteen.
