Western Crossover: An Office Worker Reinvents Himself as a Master Assassin

When Arlot Tristan was assigned by his employer, Abstergo, to travel to Gotham for work, his colleagues all looked at him with pity. Some even advised him to quit on the spot. But Arlot volunteered. There was only one reason: his former employer, the Brotherhood, had issued the same assignment, to investigate and infiltrate the legendary city of Gotham. The Templars and Assassins, locked in conflict for over a thousand years, had not heard from her in a long time. Arlot hadn’t either, of course. Before he left, colleagues from both companies offered sympathetic warnings about his precarious safety. But as a professional assassin, Arlot didn’t take the potential danger seriously. This was what happened: “So, on your first day in Gotham, you lost an umbrella, a trench coat, a wallet, and all the money inside it?” “…I’d rather call that a voluntary gift.” Arlot offered a feeble defense. *Here’s a preview of my next story in the same universe~ [Western Crossover] Turns Out I’m an Assassin After waking up with a hangover from celebrating his graduation, Elio found that everything looked doubled. This visual distortion made his everyday life incredibly difficult, so he went to the nearest Abstergo hospital for a checkup. Doctor: “You’re saying you see people surrounded by halos of different colors?” Elio: “More accurately, there’s a layer of light covering them from head to toe, so I can’t make out their faces at all.” Doctor: “And the whole world looks gray?” Elio: “That’s right, Doctor. How did you know?” Doctor: “Are the halos red, green, and gold?” Elio: “Wow, you’re a miracle worker!” The doctor laughed and ordered a blood test. As Elio wondered whether he should go have his blood drawn, he watched two burly men surrounded by red light walk through the door behind the doctor, which had been left ajar. Elio: “Uh, Doctor, these two…” Doctor: “You might not be able to see where you’re going, so I called two security guards to escort you.” Elio: “Doctor, you’re such a good person. I just meant they look red. …Wait, Doctor, why are you turning red too?” Theme: I hope that in the world I create, friendship and justice can lead to ultimate victory.
