Douglas, a common-born imperial general, spent three years fighting on the front lines and returned victorious. He thought his career had reached its peak and he could finally lie flat. Who knew the king would change his career on the spot, making him give up the military to go into education and start a school from scratch?

The king said solemnly, "General, times have changed. Fighting can't save the people of the interstellar era."

Douglas: "What do you think this is, a game? You can just switch classes whenever you want?"

That wasn't all. Douglas only remembered he had an aristocratic spouse when he was almost home. The king had arranged not only his career, but his marriage as well.

His spouse was a gorgeous beauty with golden hair and blue eyes, but his personality was far too proud. He acted like his eyes were set on the top of his head, like a swan, and made a fuss about everything. At their first meeting, he criticized Douglas from head to toe, leaving Douglas deeply displeased.

Douglas: "No way. I want a divorce!"

The fussy one had been drugged without realizing it, then rushed over in an emotional fit to argue with him and went into heat early. Douglas kindly helped by giving him an inhibitor shot, but he didn't even say thank you!

Even worse, for the sake of his family, the fussy one dosed himself with an aphrodisiac and tried to force himself on Douglas. Douglas shoved him away and said, "That costs extra." (Not really.)

Afterward, he acted as if nothing had happened.

In short, Douglas couldn't make sense of him. He was a pain, but Douglas couldn't get a divorce either.

There was nothing for it. He'd just have to make do.

Cheng Nian, a freshman at the Imperial Special Academy, realizes that his golden-haired roommate, Yilan, is a little strange. He can't put his finger on it, but Yilan just seems different from the other students.

Douglas only understood later that Yilan, who seemed difficult to deal with, was actually more forgiving than anyone. Starved of love, he held on to even the smallest bit of affection.

Even when he was hurt, spoken to cruelly, locked up, and choked until he nearly suffocated, he seemed not to feel the pain, and came back for more.

He said he didn't want an apology. He wanted only a kiss.

For one kiss, he would do anything.

P.S. The beautiful one may be proud and fussy, but he's also very sexy.
