[Crossover] My Archrival Mistook Me for His Boyfriend

[Title is tentative, blurb unchanged]

[Third-person narration, brainless short story]

It's a little complicated.

I, Kashiwagi Yukie, am an undercover agent from the Special Division for Unusual Powers, working in Yokohama.

When my cover was blown, the Gravity Manipulator came alone to arrest me, only to get caught up in a battle between ability users that I had caused.

To save my own life, I took advantage of the chaos and hit him on the back of the head.

Luckily, I managed to crack his skull. Unluckily, he didn't pass out, and my unreliable ability activated at the worst possible moment.

His mind suddenly gained a false memory about me.

Amid a hail of gunfire, he stood protectively in front of me, looking grave. He even turned to say, "Don't be afraid. I'm here."

The other ability users who had come to kill me stared in shock. "What's your relationship?!"

"Are you blind?" the Gravity Manipulator said impatiently. "You, on the other hand, have some nerve. You dared to attack my lover."

Me: "???"

Just like that, I somehow ended up with a boyfriend who was an executive in the MAFIA.

-

From that day on, my life changed completely.

My work at the Port MAFIA went extremely smoothly. So smoothly that my boss sent me to give a presentation to the undercover division of the Public Security Bureau.

There, I ran into my classmates from police academy.

Boss: "Tell us how you became so outstanding."

Everyone else watched me intently.

Me: "First, you need to get together with an executive in an undercover organization."

Everyone: "?????" Are you serious?!

-

Things had gotten out of hand.

I thought my ability would only last a little while, but three months passed...

Why was I waking up in the Gravity Manipulator's bed at his apartment?!

-

At last, one fine afternoon, the Gravity Manipulator's confused memories returned.

I thought he would use his gravity powers to crush me into a meat pie, because he looked pretty terrifying now.

When he pinned me down on the bed by the throat, I thought I was about to die. But he asked in a sinister voice, "How many other people have you used your ability on?!"

Me: "..."

He seemed to have misunderstood something.

Damn it, but I really don't know. How does someone secretly imagine himself as my boyfriend in his own head?!

Theme: To love someone is to love all of them
