[Honkai: Star Rail] After Aventurine's Director Heard My Inner Thoughts

[Coming Soon: The All-Rounder Idol Has to Play Volleyball Too] After an unexpected interstellar accident, Zhi Yu felt that his boss had started acting strangely. Aventurine was always watching and examining him for long periods with a peculiar look in his eyes. To Zhi Yu's horror, his overtime hours kept getting longer and longer! ...Until work made him move into his boss's home. When his boss calmly asked about his furniture preferences, the design of his walk-in closet, and his habits when it came to household items, Zhi Yu gradually realized something was off. "B-but shouldn't these be things your partner should be thinking about?" Only after the whole place had been renovated did Zhi Yu finally summon the courage to ask. Aventurine: "...Be confident, darling. You've been my partner ever since you said I made you work overtime because I had a crush on you." Zhi Yu: "...???!!!" - After an interstellar accident, Aventurine suddenly developed a strange superpower: he could hear his secretary's thoughts. While working overtime: On the outside, perfectly composed, looking every bit like a model employee. On the inside, be like: [Companionship is the longest confession of love?! If I hear that phrase one more time, I'll make that person eat eight hundred dumplings! By that logic, my boss must be madly in love with me, to the ends of the earth! He wants to cling to me twenty-four hours a day! We're basically locked together for life, right?!] Aventurine: "..." During battle: Automatically retreating to safety, bravely fending for himself so his boss won't be distracted in battle. On the inside, be like: [Help meeee! Save meeee! Aaaaaah! The Amber Lord's number-one publicist! Save me, save me, save me! I can't do this without you!] Aventurine: "..." At the gambling table: Standing calmly behind him, remaining unruffled even when things get intense. On the inside, be like: [All or nothing. Oh, I knew he'd say that. A classic line, that's all.] Aventurine: "..." - "So, could you tell me everything that happened between you and Aventurine? I really can't imagine what he's like when he's in love." Zhi Yu: "..." Why would anyone think he'd know?! He wasn't even sure when he'd officially taken up this position! Reader's Note: Pirated readers, stay out of my comments. If I see you, I'll delete your comments. A sweet little story!!! Short story!! Complete in under 200,000 words! No logic!! I'm writing this for love and fun, QAQ. I really just want to write Aventurine. I'm still trying to figure out the Honkai: Star Rail setting, so there will definitely be plenty of bugs, but I really have played the game properly (pathetic). The male lead is a timid wimp. If that's not your thing, don't force yourself to read it! There will be flashbacks! Flashbacks! Flashbacks! Flashbacks! I'm not sure yet how much space the flashbacks will take up. Thanks to my friend for making the cover! I love her!! [Recommending my other upcoming story: The All-Rounder Idol Has to Play Volleyball Too] Arisu Kurimu is known as an all-rounder idol. Whether it's singing, dancing, studying, or sports, he's good at everything! But despite being so talented, he had an especially terrifying prophetic dream just before starting high school. In his dream, he got the chance to audition for an enormously popular TV series about volleyball. Who knew the audition would be broadcast live nationwide, and that they'd have to play a match on the spot? Without even understanding the rules of volleyball, Arisu Kurimu was carried off the court in a daze and eliminated. "So much for the all-rounder idol, the genius boy, and the super-dedicated professional. This career has crashed and burned, and it's so satisfying to watch." Arisu Kurimu woke up with a start. After confirming the dream might come true, he rushed to join his school's volleyball team. He would rather die! His perfect image absolutely could not collapse! Volleyball was a piece of cake! He'd take it in stride! - After the new students arrived, Aoba Johsai's volleyball team welcomed an especially unusual libero. At first: Player A: "He's glowing!" Player B: "He looks perfect no matter what move he makes!" Player C: "Why does he even look like he's got a beauty filter when he cries after losing?!" After a spectacular diving save, Arisu Kurimu stood up with effortless flair. Heh heh... Volleyball was a piece of cake! But when he turned around, he met the terrifying gaze of his senior, Oikawa. Oikawa Toru: "Arisu, did you come here to play volleyball, or to put on a stage performance?" Later... Arisu Kurimu: "To receive the ball, I'll even crawl under the coach's bench for you!" Player A: "????? Do you remember how you used to sparkle all the time? Get out from under the chair, Arisu!" Arisu Kurimu: "Aaaaaah!" (sprinting wildly to receive the ball) Player B: "Arisu! Your expression's gone wild! This is live! Don't you care about your image?" When they lost, Arisu Kurimu threw his head back and sobbed in despair. Player C: "Where's your expression management? Where's the filter?!" Oikawa Toru turned around and dropped his warm-up jacket over Arisu Kurimu's head. - After Arisu Kurimu joined Aoba Johsai, every one of his matches became a celebration for his haters. At first: [The adorable princess is on the court again! What amazing performance will he give us this time?] [He has to put on an act even when playing a match. I'm tired just watching him.] [His expression is practically welded in place, isn't it? You'd need ten years of practice in front of a mirror to get that good.] Gradually: [????? What happened to that expression management you had welded in place?!] [Who are you?! Who is this all-round libero on the court, combining speed, sprinting, and hurdling?!] Later: [The adorable princess is number one in the world! Don't cry! You're the strongest!] [Weren't you supposed to be haters?! Why are you fighting me for tickets?! Give me back my ticket to the national finals!] Theme: Love every part of the person you love
