I Play Among the Sky Screens (Quick Transmigration)

If you transmigrated into a book as the heroine or a female supporting character in dire straits, looked down on by everyone, and had to make a comeback and earn face-slapping satisfaction points, what would you do...

Jiang Baimi: Whatever. I'll use cheats.

Jiang Baimi used to be an actress, playing emperors, famous ministers, immortals, and mighty cultivators...

She has a sky screen System that preserves all the movies and television shows and roles she has acted in, and can play them in the sky whenever she likes.

After transmigrating into a book...

[World One: The Sixth Princess of Great Xia, Falsely Accused of Treason]

Jiang Baimi transmigrates into the historical Sixth Princess of Great Xia. Her father, the emperor, doesn't care for her, her mother died young, and the emperor's favored consort repeatedly frames her. In the end, she's executed on the false charge of being a spy for an enemy state. Her maternal family is destroyed along with her, and the whole world condemns her even after her death.

The former actress Jiang Baimi remembers that she seems to have played the founding emperor of Great Xia in a historical drama.

Jiang Baimi: ...Is this a coincidence?

She touches her sky screen System and comes up with a daring idea.

When Jiang Baimi arrives, the novel's plot is nearing its conclusion.

After the emperor's favored consort accuses her of being a spy for an enemy state, her father, the emperor, condemns her without investigating the truth, putting her on trial in front of all the officials and threatening to use severe torture.

Suddenly, sky screens appear over every part of the country. Every day, they play a segment of a television drama: the history of Jiang Zhengling, the founding emperor of Great Xia, played by Jiang Baimi, as he conquers the realm.

Everyone thinks it's a divine miracle. Gradually, they make out what's on the screen and believe it to be true. They are all horrified: how can that woman, guilty of an unforgivable crime, have the same face as their most revered founding emperor?

Could it be... that this traitorous spy is actually the reincarnation of their founding emperor?

The novel's supporting characters, the emperor, and the rest: Sweating bullets...

[World Two: An Unlucky New Female Official in the Great Zhao Kingdom]

This world is also based on a history-inspired novel, an ensemble story about the reforms in the latter half of Great Zhao's history.

This time, she transmigrates into an unlucky minor character who never existed in history, an original character in the novel: a court official who has only recently joined the government of Zhao...

Jiang Baimi: ...She seems to have a title in this dynasty too. She once played a great minister renowned throughout the ages.

The junior female official she's become gets caught up in a misunderstanding and is about to be implicated and executed. But then the sky screen appears, showing a historical drama about Xu Weizhen, a loyal minister who willingly gave her life to save Zhao centuries ago and refused to surrender even at the cost of death. Her story is widely known in later generations. Everyone, from the emperor to ordinary people, admires her loyalty and integrity. They build temples to her and write poems about her...

Everyone turns to look at the bewildered woman standing in the most remote corner of the court.

So this is the reincarnation of Lord Jiang!

After watching every episode, the current emperor takes her hand with tears in his eyes. Her colleagues around them wipe their own tears, and some are so moved they bow down to her...

Jiang Baimi: Now not only do I get to keep my head, but my promotions are guaranteed for decades to come!

[World Three: An Outer Sect Disciple in a Cultivation World]

She's the least remarkable outer sect disciple in a small sect, a cannon-fodder female supporting character in the original story. At a competition attended by all sorts of powerful cultivators and prestigious orthodox sects, nobody pays her any attention. After she's humiliated by a prodigy from an immortal sect, the sky screen plays the cultivation story of the first leader of the orthodox path and the greatest founder of the righteous sects under heaven, played by Jiang Baimi...

In the fourth world, she transmigrates into the daughter of an ordinary commoner in some dynasty. She and her grandmother have just visited wealthy relatives in the city to mooch off them when the drama being played shows her as an immortal from the heavens.

In the fifth world, she's a river god's sacrificial bride. The drama playing in the sky reveals that she's the reincarnation of the Dragon God, frightening the river god into leaping out of the water.

In the sixth world, she's a maid in a Duke's mansion...
