After the God of Light Was Judged a Sinner by the Temple [Western Fantasy]

As Alex was on the brink of death, he signed a contract with the System.

System: You must go into the Western fantasy novel Reforging the Gods and help the male lead overthrow the Dark Rule of the Holy See. Take the lead in fighting against the Holy See and prove that mortals can slay gods.

Alex: Sure, sure. What identity should I go with?

System: Draw a card.

After drawing, Alex became a handsome young man covered in scars.

System (scratching its head): Your luck isn't great. Looks like you're an ordinary person with no special powers. Uh, things might be just a tiny bit difficult... Good luck.

Alex: Thanks a lot.

The good news was that his best friend had recommended this novel to him. The bad news was that he hadn't read it.

But he vaguely remembered his friend saying that the male lead was a man with black hair and black eyes, and an exceptionally distinctive aura.

So he met an amnesiac Dark God who was just as covered in scars.

What a distinctive aura. He was obviously the male lead.

Alex: Kid, go save the world.

The Dark God, tricked into becoming humanity's champion against his will: ?!!

The actual male lead: ?!!

And so they began a life of fighting the Holy See.

Holy See: They're nothing but a bunch of rats. Arrest that criminal named Alex and kill him to appease Lord Light God.

Then one day, as they faced off against the Holy See, the church made a bold threat to summon Lord Light God. After performing a special summoning ritual, the pope laughed maniacally. "You can't win, you pack of cowardly rats! Lord Light God will come and judge you in person!"

Alex: Damn it.

The next moment, holy golden light burst from Alex's whole body.

The two sides stared at one another.

Holy See: ?!

Rebels: ?!

Alex: I think I know what card I drew.

#Come on, save the world!#

#How did the Light God get so pathetic in just a few days?#

#Go save the world, kid!#

Note: In many people's eyes, the protagonist is a beautiful, gentle, and kind saintly figure, but in reality, he's rather devious.

Theme: When saints do not die, the light will endure.
