Little Beauty

Lili was born in a circus and grew up there. When she was older, she met Xiaomei the lioness.

Xiaomei was also born in a circus. Lili walked the tightrope while she jumped through hoops of fire; Lili performed on the flying trapeze while she did tricks on a rolling cylinder.

Lili loved Xiaomei very much. They were best friends.

Lili and Xiaomei helped keep the circus going and earned money. Lili wanted to buy clothes and pencil in her eyebrows; Xiaomei wanted meat.

Later, the circus business declined. They moved to several cities, but very few people bought tickets.
