1.
There was a rumor in the Federation that, in the name of fairness, every year it selected a commoner from the Lower District and gave them the chance to enter high society. If they passed the test, they could stay there forever.
Milan White never believed the rumor, until she received an invitation.
“Dear Miss Milan White, we have detected an upper-class trait in you: a heartbreaker. You are eligible to enter high society, and we have prepared a test for you.”
“If you successfully complete the test, you will become a member of high society.”
Milan had thought that “heartbreaker” being an upper-class trait was absurd enough, but the tasks she received were even more outrageous.
The tasks were as follows:
1. Make at least three upper-class people fall in love with you.
2. Get an upper-class person to willingly become your third partner.
3. Make an upper-class family go mad for you.
The first upper-class person Milan met was Edwin Davis.
“If you can tear this family apart, I’ll make you an upper-class person in name and in fact,” the eldest son of the Davis family told Milan.
“Sure.” Milan joined the family without hesitation.
2. “She’s just a lowborn alpha with a genetic defect. How much trouble can she possibly cause?”
At first, Edwin looked down on Milan, who had the air of a street thug, and even doubted whether she could meet his expectations.
Until Edwin saw
His formerly arrogant younger brother wagging his tail, just begging her to pet him one more time;
His sharp-tongued, scheming fox of an uncle, dressed in a provocative sheer outfit, lounging on the sofa and seducing her;
His aloof, stern uncle lovingly feeding her grapes by hand, then warming her feet with his body;
His hypocritical, sinister adopted sister clinging to her like a venomous green snake in the shadows, refusing to let anyone else near her;
Edwin couldn’t sit still any longer, so... he joined the frenzied farce to win Milan over.
Milan thought the tasks would be difficult, but all she had to do was put in a little effort and say a few sweet words. Their once-solid relationships fell apart, and they turned against one another.
“You’re an elder! How can you fight with the younger generation over an alpha?”
“Disgusting! She’s your sister!”
“What right does a defective omega have to compete with me?”
“Does she know you have such a filthy desire? She’s not into women!”
Milan sighed at the chaos around her. She sipped her tea with the elegance of a true member of high society and remarked leisurely, “High society is absurd.”
Note: The female lead is a chaotic troublemaker, a fake alpha who is actually a beta. No harem.
No women fighting over men; nobody is a good person.
Theme: Risk everything for love.
