Kamo Yuji was born into the Kamo clan, one of the Three Great Families, but he had no innate technique. All he could do was work as a corporate drone at the administrative headquarters, serving tea to his superiors, making PowerPoint decks for meetings, writing their presentations for them, and taking meeting minutes.
The damn administrative headquarters held an especially ridiculous number of meetings, too.
After filing report after report with dogged persistence, he finally got transferred. He was sent to Tokyo Jujutsu High as an assistant supervisor, and, on top of that, he got incredibly lucky and awakened his own innate technique:
[Infinite Meetings]: He can start a meeting anytime, anywhere, and even organize meetings in the past.
Thanks. Turns out he wasn't quite so lucky after all.
Tokyo Jujutsu High's first-years have a new assistant supervisor named Kamo Yuji. He's about their age, and they hear he's been sent by the administrative headquarters to keep an eye on them.
He's one of the rotten oranges.
The new assistant supervisor loves dragging them into meetings, whether he has a reason or not: big meetings, small meetings, morning meetings, evening meetings.
He's a super rotten orange, no doubt about it.
But as time goes by... they realize that the assistant supervisor's meetings always help solve problems they'll face in the future.
During the Star Plasma Vessel incident, Toji Fushiguro is about to ambush Gojo Satoru, only for Gojo to nimbly dodge.
Gojo Satoru says with a cheerful smile, "Good thing our assistant supervisor held a meeting and told us to stay aware of our surroundings in case someone with a heavenly restriction ambushes us someday."
Toji Fushiguro: ?
During the land god incident, Nanami and Haibara pull out cursed tools tailored to counter a cursed spirit whose strength had been misjudged.
"Good thing our assistant supervisor told us to prepare for mistakes in assessing a cursed spirit's grade."
The first-years grow fonder and fonder of their new assistant supervisor. As for Kamo Yuji himself...
He's frantically catching up on the meeting minutes!
He's figured out the right way to use his [Meeting] technique. After something goes wrong in an incident, he can insert a meeting that took place before the incident began and complete the entire meeting process, including writing up the minutes within the allotted time. This gives the attendees memories of the meeting and has a chance of changing the timeline.
It's just that those students refuse to pay attention in his meetings, so he has to hold several meetings about the same thing before he can change the timeline.
As he gets the refreshments ready for the next meeting, Geto Suguru turns evil.
Kamo Yuji: ???
Damn it, he'd better insert a meeting before the corruption takes hold. A counseling session, a youth mental health intervention, whatever it takes... Oh right, he needs to hurry and make the slides and presentation notes too...
Gojo Satoru: "Supervisor Kamo, want a hand? =v="
Kamo Yuji (hiding the meeting minutes): "To activate my technique, I have to write down everything said in the meeting. Damn it, why does someone always say weird stuff during meetings? These minutes are totally unfit for anyone to see. I'll destroy them later."
Gojo Satoru (stealing the meeting minutes): "Yuji wrote down every single thing I said. He really does love me so much."
Reading Guide:
1. Gojo Satoru is the love interest. Yuji is two years older than Gojo Satoru, a reliable, sarcastic corporate drone.
2. Yuji's skill comes from the jjxx storyline. His trump card after using Infinite Meetings is Tokyo Jujutsu High.
