Trapped between them, the city's residents had somehow held out for a hundred years.

Until one day, deep in the ruins of the city, they unearthed an ancient summoning array.

Perhaps it could save them?

So, clinging to their last shred of hope, they activated the array.

Light blazed from the formation, and a young man emerged, dressed in a cloth tunic unlike anything they had ever seen, a small, pitch-black flag in his hand.

At their very first meeting, he locked every one of them inside the flag.

Oh, no! Everyone fell into despair.

They had summoned a true calamity, a great demon.

The evil great demon seized the entire city of Kexili!

The great demon took over the neighboring Skeleton Wastes! The undead there worked day and night, building grander walls and buildings for the city.

The demon conquered the neighboring dragon lair! The ancient dragons folded their wings and bowed their heads, making trip after trip to bring supplies and treasures from every corner of the world.

The great one subdued the Plague Lich Tower! The lich scattered its deathly miasma and brought medicine and healing to Kexili City.

The great Lord Lin brought the swamp sprites under his command! The sprites offered Kexili City flowers as far as the eye could see, and a flourishing new life.

The savior spread Kexili City's blessings and good tidings to places farther and farther away, until they reached the whole continent.

Oh my goodness, mighty god!
