[Kosuke Sugawara] My Blind Date Is a High School Classmate

Written for the love of it!

Frustrated with work, Asajima Yukina still couldn't refuse her neighbor's kind offer. With no intention of taking it seriously, she went to meet the man her neighbor had arranged for her.

"He's a teacher, about your age."

"Handsome, and gentle."

"Good-looking, fit, and strong."

The neighbor sang his praises to the skies, while Asajima Yukina nodded, letting it all go in one ear and out the other.

"Oh, right, he went to Karasuno High School, too."

"You might know him. His name is Sugawara Koshi."

Wait, who did you say he was?

Sugawara Koshi!

Who!

That was her high school classmate, and the guy she had found most annoying back then.

[Third Year]

"Yukina, is there a boy in our class you like?" her high school friend asked. Everyone looked at her curiously.

"Could it be..." One of them glanced toward him as he got ready to head to club activities.

"No way! Sugawara Koshi is the person I like least!"

"Why are you shouting? Okay, okay, we get it."

Maybe she had been too childish back then, so she was always rude to him.

When she walked into the cafe where they had agreed to meet and saw him again, she found herself smiling with a sense of relief.

"Maybe I fell for you a long time ago, but unfortunately, I was too much of a coward to let myself feel that way afterward."

Asajima Yukina lowered her head to look at the steaming coffee, when his voice suddenly rang beside her.

He said, "That's a little unfortunate. I still really like you, Yukina."

At that very moment, they were like two goldfish picked up at a festival, pressed together until they drifted close. The feeling was as sweet as cotton candy.

His next words struck even closer to her heart.

"Because I want to be the first reader of the sequel you're writing."

So he still remembered.

That book she'd never finished...

Please note: 1. Like Water Breathing, this story is episodic. I don't accept writing advice. If you don't like it, you can just stop reading, no need to tell me!

2. The heroine's personality will develop. Nobody is perfect.

3. A sweet, lighthearted story with no angst.

4. Since I don't have an outline and my state of mind has changed, the story may differ a little from the blurb.

Theme: If you like someone, say it plainly.
