Can You Water Breathers Please Talk Like Normal People?

[A short story written for love. I wanted to write something that catered to my own tastes. The whole story is free.] All chapters are on Weibo. Come check them out! "They are all children trapped in the past. Tanjiro, I want to ask you..." The Master made his request. Tanjiro nodded without hesitation. Mr. Giyu and Ms. Arisu had both played important roles in changing his fate. Long ago, a forest people once dominated Eastern Europe. Though they were small and weak, they used their extraordinary intelligence to repel foreign enemies. But after the fifteenth century, they suddenly vanished from history. They were called the "Selenites." "So, Ms. Arisu, are you a Selenite too?" Tanjiro watched her golden curls, bright as the dawn, and her blue eyes, like a rainy night. Tobishima Arisu shook her head gently and spoke very slowly. "I have only inherited a tiny part of it." Her words were as cautious and weightless as a newborn baby trying to walk, like a fine rain falling on a lake. Only the ripples spreading across the surface proved they were there. - "I'm different from all of you. You can discuss this with Arisu." The inarticulate Tomioka Giyu stood up to leave. "What exactly do you mean by that? Are we somehow worse than your Tsuguko? Take some responsibility as a Hashira!" The air was thick with the tension of an argument. She wanted to explain, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't force the words out of her throat. "That's not it..." She tried to speak, but her voice was as powerless as Alice after drinking the shrinking potion in a fairy tale. "Honestly, you Water Breathers need to learn how to talk to each other!" Words can sometimes deceive. Sometimes they can't express what we truly mean. So look with your eyes: look into the other person's eyes, at the subtle changes in their expression, and into their heart. Note: 1. The background incorporates a little GOSICK, but the main story is Demon Slayer. 2. The heroine will have a little golden finger to save a few characters from death. 3. The pairing is Tomioka Giyu. 4. The heroine's awkward personality and slow speech have a reason behind them. 5. Feel free to stop reading at any time if there's anything you don't like. Please don't force yourself. No writing advice, thanks! I type too fast and have made quite a few typos. I'm really sorry if they detract from your reading experience! I'll fix them as soon as I spot them! Thesis: Wait for the dawn to break
