After Failing to Break Off My Engagement to the Holy Son of Light

After losing her magic, Daisiel went from the First Duke's beloved jewel, held close in the palm of his hand, to a rose that anyone seemed free to pluck.

Without anyone knowing, Daisiel sacrificed her soul to the darkness in exchange for the ability to use magic again.

She was arrogant, extreme, and mad.

She even schemed to ruin her engagement ceremony with her fiance.

After her plan failed, a twist of fate left her pinning her fiance beneath her.

After that absurd encounter, her fiance not only refused to expose her, but even offered to become a sacrifice for her black magic training.

He didn't even give her the chance to refuse.

Daisiel used to think her fiance was distant, cold, noble, and untouchable.

Later, she discovered that beneath his gentle exterior was a side of him she had never seen before.

Dark, greedy, and insatiable.

'O girl who sacrificed her soul to the darkness, pay no mind to worldly condemnation and curses. Someone will accept all your mistakes and sins, then give you the purest love and the most selfless happiness.'

#Gentle, aloof light-aligned prince x rebellious black-magic girl. Short story, happy ending, just writing for fun.
