Please Obey the Laws of Death
Pseudo-narcissism
[A short writing exercise. The ending is a little rushed. If possible, I might expand it into a full-length novel.]
Lin Dongdong has three lifelong goals:
First, never break the law;
Second, always have enough money to spend;
Third, have the very best friend in the world.
After suddenly transmigrating into a book, he finds himself in a very unfamiliar place. But the longer he stays, the more familiar it seems.
His mission is to help the male lead. The System says its name is Yi Liu and that it's a very powerful system. Lin Dongdong can't see what's so powerful about it. In fact, its bad directions lead him to the wrong male lead right from the start, wasting a lot of time.
The male lead in the book: sharp-tongued and bad-tempered.
The male lead he finds by mistake: understanding and hardworking, doing his best to support his family.
In this unfamiliar world, Lin Dongdong clings to his strong neighbor, hoping to get a little protection from him...
Yi Liu: Haha, we got it wrong! It turns out your neighbor is the male lead who needs saving!
Lin Dongdong: ...Huh?
*
This book has two male leads. One marries a rich beauty and reaches the pinnacle of life. The other gets hit by a car, breaks his leg, and spends the rest of his life alone and miserable.
Without a script in hand, Lin Dongdong still manages to find the male lead who truly needs saving...
But Lin Dongdong doesn't want this person to be the male lead. Someone as free and uninhibited as him shouldn't have that kind of ending.
He wants to help his best friend...
His... boyfriend...
A timid, naturally dark-minded bottom with an eccentric train of thought × a sharp-tongued, childish top who loves to trade barbs
Before You Read:
1. 1v1 HE | Transmigration into a book | Both leads have emotional issues
2. Please don't hate Lin Dongdong
I'll write more short stories in the future. Dongdong's story has come to an end, and he has a very, very happy future ahead of him.

Blurb:
I don't have a companion.
This world has a kind of creature called a companion. Every child gets one before adulthood. A companion looks exactly like its owner and can help them achieve their dreams.
I don't have one. I'm already twenty-three, working at a private company, and my parents are pressuring me to marry before I'm even old enough.
Because I never developed a companion, I've been ostracized my whole life, and I'm treated poorly at work. But I don't mind. Once you have a companion, you have to take a test to see if you can eliminate monsters and become a "hero."
I don't want to fight monsters, so not having a companion is a good thing for me... Then a monster appeared right in front of me, and I started to regret it.
Luckily, I survived. I even got a companion of my own: a tiny, five-inch-tall person who looks just like me and is otherwise nothing like me at all.
He says he's my master.
I don't believe that for a second. I'm obviously the real one.
My little companion's skill is taking over my body. I think it's pretty great. He can do my job for me and deal with those nasty people.
I'm not worried he'll replace me, because I can push him out whenever I want...
In front of the mirror, I watch him check himself out. He's got a pretty nice face, and I'm busy congratulating myself when I see my reflection slip a finger between my lips and gently swirl it around.
My mind is growing hazy. Oh no, I think I'm being controlled.
As pleasure washes over me, I hear him say:
"Does it feel good, darling...?"
