Never Pick Up Strangers on a Whim (Matriarchy)

Never pick up strangers on a whim

The Lingyuan Pavilion's never-changing assassin rankings have been updated.

An unknown young assassin named Wuqiu suddenly claimed first place, leading the runner-up by nearly a hundred kills.

While everyone wondered who this bloodthirsty assassin could be,

he had transformed into a poor little thing whom nobody loved, in Pei City, where spring lasted all year.

“Big Sister, you haven't spoken to me for three hours today.”

“Big Sister, are you done with work for today?”

“Mm, nothing. My leg just hurts a little.”

His father named him Wuqiu, which means 'without desires', because top assassins are supposed to be free of all wants.

But later, Wuqiu became Youqiu, 'one who wants something'.

Once greed took hold, he could never be an assassin again.

Reading guide:

1) The hero is an insecure, disabled, obsessive Lingyuan assassin who acts obedient for love. The heroine seems like a wealthy, carefree homebody who loves mountains and rivers, but is actually a martial arts powerhouse.

2) The leads put on an act for each other. The hero is severely disabled. One man and one woman, happy ending. Please don't read if that's not for you.
